Linguine with tuna, lemon and dill

Spaghetti with tuna is an ideal solution when you are in a hurry but also because everyone loves tuna, which is found in almost every home at all times. Usually, we make it with red sauce. This alternative is more original and lighter.

Ingredients

400gr. linguine

2 cans of tuna in water

1 shot of vodka

zest and juice of 1 lemon

1/2 a bunch of chopped dill

1/2 a cup of olive oil

5 fresh onions, finely chopped

Salt & Pepper

Instructions

Bring the linguini to a boil in plenty of salted water. Drain them and keep some of the water.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Drain the tuna very well and break it into medium pieces. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions for 2-3 minutes until they wither. Add the tuna, stir, quench with the vodka and once it has evaporated, add the zest and lemon juice.

Bring to a boil and add the dill and linguine you have drained along with 2-3 tablespoons. soup from the water you have kept. Stir well for half a minute on high heat and serve with freshly ground pepper.

Tips

  • For a richer sauce, use tuna in oil.

  • For a more seafood taste, you can add a little brik or a spoonful of salmon eggs to the dish.

  • Instead of vodka, you can quench it with a little white wine.
