Li'l Cheddar Meat Loaves

Ingredients

a single huge egg

3⁄4 gallon of whole milk

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

½ cup oats (quick-cooking)

½ cup onion, chopped

½ teaspoon salt

1 pound beef mince

ketchup, 2/3 cup

½ cup brown sugar, packed

1 ½ tablespoons mustard powder

Directions

Whisk together the egg and milk in a large mixing dish. Combine the cheese, oats, onion, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix in the beef crumbles thoroughly. Form the dough into 8 loaves and set them in a greased 13x9-inch baking tray. Combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a small bowl; spoon over the loaves.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, uncovered, at 350°, or until no pink remains and a thermometer reads 160°.
